Meet the Founder

Dr. Takiwi is an accomplished educational executive, strategist, author, and school-improvement leader with more than 18 years of experience in public education. Her career spans classroom teaching, instructional coaching, school and division leadership, and executive-level administration.

As a Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Takiwi has led comprehensive improvement efforts across curriculum and instruction, assessment and accountability, exceptional education, career and technical education, federal programs, and student support services. Her leadership has helped organizations interrupt patterns of declining performance, strengthen instructional coherence, expand student opportunities, and establish systems of accountability centered on support, development, and results.

Her philosophy is grounded in a simple but demanding belief:

Dr. Takiwi combines strategic thinking with practical implementation. She understands that leaders do not need another attractive plan that sits on a shelf.
